Assalamu Alaikom
My name is Faiz Alowadh, I am working at the Yemeni Community association in Sandwell, Birmingham.
I am working on a Yemeni Heritage project where the Yemeni traditional food is taking a big part of it.
On your website I can see lots of verities of Yemeni food which looks very delicious and interesting for the project.
The aim of the project is to produce a learning recourses for this and the oncoming generations to show and teach them how is Yemeni food is cooked. I am going to produce a DVD showing different Yemeni dishes and the process of the Yemeni style cooking.
if you think that you can be any help for this project please contact me on my emai Faizyca@yahoo.co.uk or on:

Hello Lamya. I am a Yemeni-American (Adenia) living in Michigan and came across your site by chance. Let me tell you, you made my day! You made me smile so with each and every recipe! Each time I scrolled down I would see a familiar dish I love from Yemen, especially Aden. You nailed it! You mentioned each and every dish we love in Yemen. Thank you!
Hello Laila,

I’m sophia ,I’m Adeni who lives in Italy.I want to say thank you so much for your great efforts Lamya ! this is really what every Yemeni from south or north will need as reference for cooking the typical and traditional dishes of our country.
from now and on I made this web site as one of my defaults ,as I’m married to Italian man and each time I wanted to cook for him an Adeni food to present my culture and our delicious dishes i found this site very helpful.
bravo Lamya :)
